Review: Poppin Hoppies

Poppin Hoppies from University games launched this summer and we were lucky enough to receive one to review. It has those little thingies that you press down and then wait for them to randomly pop up and spring into the air . I loved these as a child and it turns out I still do!!

Basically you have to catch poppins in the air in order to win pieces to complete your puzzle. But you need certain colours in order to complete your puzzle and it’s a bit more strategic when it sounds. We had great fun playing this game.

My 8 year old was rather over enthusiastic and did knock the board about a fair few time. We think we’ll play on the floor next time. Even dad loved this one. Lots of fun and a bit of thinking.

It is recommended for 4+ up but I would say at least to start with have a grown up involved so the rules get clearly explained and no one bashes each other out the way to catch them!

This costs £16.99 and stockists include Amazon and Argos.
