Next recently sent me their Spring Mother and Baby magazine ( because I write a bay budgeting blog and love next fashion) I was expecting to see just tiny baby and maternity clothes and I was surprised to see the accessories dotted throughout the magazine too. But actually thinking back to my own pregnancies this made complete sense.
Often when we are pregnant we just buy a couple of outfits that we live in for the last few months. Rather than buying lots of outfits we won’t wear until the ‘next time’ buying accessories to jazz them up is a really smart idea and a good budgeting option. Accessories are particularly useful if are neutral and fit with a variety of outfits and are comfortable and practical.
The two items I have picked from Next to show you tick all these boxes.
This gorgeous roomy nude elegant bag is perfect for mums to be and new mums and it’s big enough for all the bits and bobs, bottles of water, feeding scarves, etc. you may need. I love it, t is neutral enough to match any of your new baby outfits! I think it is a real classic that is also a good investment as it will never go out of style. It has the option of a shoulder strap should you want to wear it that way, and has a few great internal pockets and strap and I found it very roomy.
The other item I reviewed from Next is this stunning nude lace mix scarf It is perfect for breastfeeding privacy if that’s what you need, for jazzing up a plain outfit and looking elegant. It will go with anything, it’s nice and long and it is very pretty. Lovely enough to wear for a wedding or just with a jumper to zing it up.
Neutrals are always good but these are pretty, classic and practical too.
I think I may just have to treat myself to this lovely £15 scoop neck sweater to match the bag and scarf. It has tiny pearlised buttons on the sleeve. Such a good price and it comes in lots of other colours too.
I am feeling quite spring like already.
