F&F Back to School Review : Tried and Tested

It is almost half way through the school holidays and I am starting to think about the kids going back to school. Not that I am wishing the holidays away, but because I know if I don’t get organise soon time will run away before I have a chance to get sorted.

Have you started to think about new school uniform yet?

F&F Back to School review

I was absolutely delighted to be asked to review F&F’s School shop range for 2016, a one stop destination for the new school season. We have bought uniform from F&F before and been pleased with it so we were happy to take look at the new school range and try it out.

F&F Back to School review

The collection has a huge focus on easy care which sits very well with busy time short me! It includes permanent pleat trousers, super-strength and non-iron shirts, reinforced knee trousers and scuff resistant shoes.

F&F BLACK BLAZER £10, 2PK BOYS LS EASYCARE WHITE SHIRTS £3.50, BOYS BLACK SLIM LEG FLAT FRONT TROUSER £4, OB LACE UP LEATHER £10

My footie loving kids both scuff their shoes terribly so resilient footwear is very important to me!

There is also ‘As New Technology’ features on all knitted pieces, ensuring garments keep their vibrant colour and remain bobble resistant throughout the school year.

I absolutely hate bobbly knitwear it makes clothes look instantly old even when it is not so this technology is great news.

F&F also have  ‘Buy One, We Donate One’ scheme for every item from their ‘you buy one, we give one’ range, they will donate a complete school uniform to a child in Kenya, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh. I just LOVE that

F&F also do a Plus Fit Uniform  which features all the benefits of their standard uniform bu in a more generous size. The range includes trousers for him, a skirt and pinafore for her, as well as shirts for boys and girls.

So how did we get on?

We trialled:

Easy iron polo shirts 5 for £8.50

Jersey pinafore £7

Trim cardigan  £6

Scuff resistant shoes £15

Cost

The cost is excellent for the quality of the items.

Comfort

Lise declared the uniform really comfy and particularly loved the jersey pinafore which was so easy to take on and off and really allowed her to play freely.

Style

It’s a no frills range which I really like and it looked very smart.

Robustness

Well we haven’t trialled the uniform over a long period but it washed like a dream, and Annalise hasn’t managed to pull any threads or scuff the shoes during our trials!

As you can see she was really able to be active in it.

The range gets a big thumbs up from us!
