Handmade Burger Co. Review

We had the most lovely meal yesterday at Handmade Burger Co. in Nottingham. Might seem a rather odd choice for an entirely veggie family but they really do have an amazingly good range of veggie options.  In total they have over 40 different handmade burgers for you to choose from which are handmade from scratch in their restaurants every day.

Often as a veggie you have very limited choice but this was absolutely not the case. In fact they have 7 types of burger to choose form these include:

VEG-MEX* (v) (vegan) NEW

SWEET POTATO & BEAN* (v) (vegan)

CHICKPEA & QUINOA* (v) (vegan)

and each can be customised with extras and sauces. Just fabulous.

I chose a sweet potato and bean and Jonny chose the falafel. We had rosemary and piri piri chips , a house salad with grilled halloumi and  various sauces and onion rings too. What an absolute feast!

Doesn’t it look lovely?

It was so tasty and beautifully fresh too.

I chose strawberry cheesecake for pudding and it was divine and the coffee was great (always important to me!)

Molly our waitress was helpful and attentive and made our lunch a lovely experience. We adored the industrial decor and the relaxed vibe.

I love the fact this a family owned  an independent and their dedication to using fresh seasonal produce

Food is handmade in our restaurants using over 48 seasonal ingredients and only the freshest produce which is locally sourced where possible.

Have a look here to find your nearest handmade Burger Co. restaurant – we will definitely be returning. I have peanut butter and chocolate milkshakes and a hoset of other veggie burgers to try!

Share the thrifty love
