Welcome to our new weekly post and linky : Five Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week
So what have I done this week that is fabulously frugal?
- I have walked – a lot, all over the place actually as part of a marathon walk I am doing for the British Heart Foundation. You can read about why here. Needless to say I have realised I love walking its frugal and makes you feel GREAT!
- I promised my daughter supper out after an evening walk. She fancied a muffin and milk. In a cafe it would have cost me about £3. Instead we popped in the Co-Op and I bought a carton of milk and a 6 pack of muffins for £1.20 and she ate and drank it on a park bench. Still a treat but MUCH better value.
- I also made some stick flowers which will last far longer than real flowers and cost zilch!
- Lastly I took snacks to tennis lessons form home rather than buying them for the bar there and I took myself water rather than buying a coffee. I saved at least £5!

You don’t have to share five things you’ve done, anything thrifty or frugal that you’ve been doing is perfect. We’d like to make this a great little community linky so it would be brilliant if you could comment on a couple of the other blog posts linked up.
We’ll make sure that we comment on all posts and if you have a Pinterest friendly image then we’ll Pin your post to one of our boards too. You’re more than welcome to copy and paste the badge above but it would be even better if you could let your readers know that you’re linking up with us by adding a little line to the bottom of your post like this one:

Good luck with the marathon walk. We take snacks to swimming lessons too, to avoided spending extra in the expensive vending machine.
Sounds like you had a pretty healthy as well as frugal week. Well done on all the walking! #5frugalthings
