Adult scooters are, I predict, going to be the next BIG thing especially the Micro Original Kickboard T-Bar Scooter
I have been lucky enough to be sent an Micro Original Kickboard T-Bar Scooter to review.
My kids have had micro scooters for the last 4 or 5 years and we find them awesome. They are still in perfect working order and have given endless hours of pleasure.
Check out this cute video of my daughter on her very first ever scooter ride…
Adoreable.
Ever since they have learned to ride a scooter I have struggled to keep up with them. They will be off giggling away together miles ahead with me trailing behind. As you know I am on a fitness mission and getting to grips with adult scooters seems a good way to start!
I have not ridden a scooter since I was about 10. I have to admit I thought it looked really easy and thought it wouldn’t feel like exercise at all.
Hahahahahaha!
I was wrong.
The micro is easy to use I love the feeling its like flying but my goodness me I was worn out speedily! It really works your legs and gets your heart pumping. It’s definitely a workout.
You lean into the turn using their weight, balance and co-ordination to steer.
I picked this up pretty quickly, it’s my stamina I need to work on.
Adult scooters are increasing in popularity all the time. It is definitely one of Micro’s top designs.
I am going to keep practicing for a week or two the I am going to join in with the mums scooter club over at micro scooters and use this as a way to get fit. Oh yes they have exercises for mums (and dads) to do on their scooters.
How cool is that!
So if you see someone with rather mad hair flying past you on the way to school it may just be me!
I will come back and tell you about the scooter workout once I have got it going.
I love scooting and so NEED one of these!!
Hi Becky, how are you getting on with the scooter now?
I’ve just been browsing to see how many other adults are posting about riding scooters as I’m sorely tempted by one of these http://www.micro-scooters.co.uk/scooters-age-adult/micro-flex-air-multi-terrain-scooter.html
I think it’s great that more mums and dads are comfortable with the idea of having their own scooters. What’s wrong with a bit of healthy fun exercise that’s not harming anyone else?
Oh its fab !! though I am stll not as fast as the kids
