Back to School with Sports Direct can bag you a bargain
Sports Direct sent me some back to school items for my children and I have to say I was delighted with the quality and breadth of range. There was so much choice. The prices blew me away too. They have an awesome sale on and there really were some fabulous bargains to be had.
Let me show you … summer sports for kids can be extended into winter quite easily
Sports bags, trainers and sportswear
These adidas trainers (£25) are so light and so funky my son was delighted with them and they go so well with the adidas messenger bag – perfect for sport (£18) and the adidas top (£12) and track pants (£17.50)
What amazing prices for this iconic brand.
Both my kids play footie at school and new football boots were in order. They were delighted with the choice they had and were able to both chose a pair they loved. The blue adidas Goletto were £21.99 and the aqua adidas astro turf boots £26.99.
They really are cool and quality boots.
Lises’ funky Kangol backpack is now all sold out but the best bargain ever at £13 (I’ll be borrowing that!)
The lovely Dunlop performance polo is perfect for tennis and again amazingly well priced at £7. These team so well with the Babalot tennis leggings (£16.50) which are made for tennis and running Her trainers are just adorable and I want them in my size too! These Nike Tanjuns are 24.99 and light as a feather.
These practical water bottles were also just £4.99.
Aren’t these prices surprising! They are far less than I would expect for such quality branded goods.
School coats
The cute puffa cost is a perfect back to school coat for Autumn/Winter and was originally £44 and now just £18. My daughter absolutely loves it!
For my son who will only wear light coats this canterbury raincoat is fabulous (£15 reduced from £29.99)
In my long experience of thrifty blogging I have found that most budgeting families tend to hit the supermarkets when it comes to back to schools shopping. It is often the case though a great bargain can be found elsewhere and we just need to keep our eyes peeled. It is also the case that many kids (especially post primary) want ‘cool bags and sports clothes’ and that supermarket clobber just no longer ticks that box.
I am so impressed with the prices at Sports Direct and they really do have some brilliant new term bargains. Well worth a look.
