I gave a talk at the Business Mums Unite conference in Nottingham about blogging for business and monetising a blog. I felt really good about sharng all I had leaned over the last 2 years and it was great to see so many mums aiming high. Blogging is pretty much free (try blogspt.com templates) and a great way for a business to convey a message or to showcase their goods. But it’s also a lovely way to be creative or communicate without much expense.

This week I also had a big clear out and realised I already have about 10 presents sorted for Christmas from bits and bobs bought throughout the year.  I would advise having a sort out now. If you do not keep track of your purchases and finances by taking note of savings tips on lovemoney.com, then it is really easy to buy twice for someone and think oh well and just hand over both gifts

This week I  meal plan! and so far so good. There has been no food waste, focussed shopping and no ‘decisions’ to make. I’m loving it! Have you tried meal planning?

Diverse reasons that make for interesting reading.
May inspire me to have a sort out this week and really do need to make moves on making money from writing too

I admire anyone who can get up and speak to a crowd of people. A great reason

I’ve started Christmas shopping too, and you’re right that it’s easy to forget what you have! Meal planning… mmm… must get round to that!
