This weeks car boot booty consists not of a huge haul but most definitely a pretty one.
It is getting more and more common at car boot sales to see people selling the things they have made themselves I love to see this creativity and always like to support these sellers.I think their is something really old fashioned and wholesome about selling your crafts at a market. I found a wonderful lady who had turned her hand to jewellery and she did have a tale to tell! (but that’s hers for the telling). Look what she had made and they were only a £1.
I love it and I bought several different letters as I think these make lovely little gift ideas
Next I just had to buy this gorgeous Lavatera shrub it just gorgeous and will look wonderful in our garden with its pretty flowers and apparently it will spread too. I had no clue if it’s the right time of year or if I have the right soil. It was £1,50 and delicious what more do I need to know!
See past the rainy day it’s going to be GORGEOUS!
Last but not least I found this lovely Usborne book for £1. I am not a sewer but my little girl loves it and I thought this might teach (us both) the basics. It looks brand new to me.
I think you will agree a very pretty haul this week! How have you got on? Do link up if you have been to a boot fair or flea market too…love to see your treasures!
I linked up at these link parties… Sunny Simple Sunday
All items lovely – plant brings brightness to the garden on a rainy day so perfect!
Hi Becky,
Thanks so much for joining us at Frugal Treasures party! I love the scrabble ring. I saw a craft show on tv where they used them to make earrings and cuff links! I really love the plant, beautiful!
