£2.50 Charity Shop Haul #5frugalthings

Charity Shop Haul

So this week I decided to take a break from my rather intense studying (just 7 weeks to go!!!) and have have a little wander round my local charity shops. I purposefully took just £5 out with me to see what I could find.

Well it was a delight.

I used to love scouring charity shops but I have been a little time short lately (a lot time short if I am honest) and within 10 minutes in just 1 shop I had my 5 frugal things!

Want to see what I got for my £2.50?

Well we are off on holiday soon so I had my eye out for a good book for the beach (£1)

Charity Shop Haul

A DVD for the kids, to take with us for the evenings (50p)

And  I  also got us some lovely crafty bits for half term (and Valentine cards) plus a perfect embroidery set that can slip in the present drawer –  (3 for £1!! )

What a great little haul!

Cheered me up no end.

How has your week been?

You don’t have to share five things you’ve done, anything thrifty or frugal that you’ve been doing is perfect.

Let’s make this a great little community linky so it would be brilliant if you could comment on a couple of the other blog posts linked up. We’ll make sure that we comment on all posts and if you have a Pinterest friendly image then we’ll Pin your post to one of our boards too.

What a great charity shop haul, will be a great help at half term. My kids really enjoyed the Spiderwick Chronicles when we borrowed the DVD from the library.
