Choosing thrifty – 5 frugal things

5 frugal things I have chosen this week.

Choosing thrifty

I have unearthed some jewellery and a lovely watch that I never ever wear ready to sell..it is just wasted hidden form viiew and never worn

I have been through all my clothes and chosen what i want to keep so my wardrobe is now full of things I love and I am not tempted instead to go shopping.

I chose to cook up leftover for my lunch 3 x this week. Was a bit boring tbh but saved waste and saved money and that is what I need to do right now.

My friend is coming to visit and normally we go out to eat. AS I am being so mindful about money I am going to cook for her intead.

It is all about choices and I realise I said exactly that last week.

But it is so true isn’t it?

You don’t have to share five things you’ve done, anything thrifty or frugal that you’ve been doing is perfect.

We’d like to make this a great little community linky so it would be brilliant if you could comment on a couple of the other blog posts linked up. We’ll make sure that we comment on all posts and if you have a Pinterest friendly image then we’ll Pin your post to one of our boards too.

Thanks for this Becky! It is definitely about choices. Great idea about going through wardrobe and sorting out what you need/ don’t need. I have LOADS of clothes I don’t wear, no idea why I keep them. Am sure I’ll find loads that I had forgotten about. Will get on to it this week!

I tend to eat any dinner leftovers for my lunch the following day too. It is very boring sometimes but I hate to waste any food.

Love food, hate waste! I am used to it by now. No food goes to waste here.
Love your idea of having a friend round and cooking for her. Maybe even more fun if you cook together! Just a thought. Thanks for the tips on being fabulously frugal.

Wardrobe ruthlessness is the way forward – I often find things at the back which I have forgotten about that I have renewed love for!

Great way to spend some money, food and other things. This idea will decrease the amount of wastage and increase the amount of saving money. Going to implement this idea. Thanks for coming up with this interesting idea.
