Double Nectar points
Christmas is just around the corner, and to help add a dash of festive cheer to the season of spending, price-comparison experts Confused.com has launched its double Nectar points give-away until the New Year, 14 February 2013.
As part of the Nectar Double points promotion, every customer purchasing car, home, pet, bike, van or income protection insurance policy will receive 2,000 Nectar points – double the reward customers have been enjoying for the past months!
On top of this, customers buying any life insurance<span style=”font-family: Calibri;”> product through Confused.com will also receive a whopping 10,000 Nectar points in the biggest Nectar points giveaway in Confused.com’s history.
Confused.com launched its partnership with Nectar in 2011 and this partnership continues to grow with Confused.com offering its customers more and more Nectar points for simply buying insurance.
Nectar is the UK’s largest loyalty programme. Over 18 million collectors *earn Nectar points when shopping for groceries, doing DIY, booking a holiday, paying household bills, buying petrol and even getting their car serviced.
All Nectar points will be awarded within the first 90 days of purchase **. The Nectar points will go straight onto the customer’s card once the claim is verified, so they can boost their Nectar balance by simply buying insurance. The Double points promotion will be supported by a brand new advert that will be airing on 23 December 2012 and will run until the end of January 2013. The advert will promote Confused.com’s Double points Nectar promotion, whereby customers will receive double points for their insurance purchases that they buy through Confused.com. The 30 second TV advert is set on a farm yard and features animated logo Cara singing a spin on the traditional song ‘YMCA’ and will feature other well-known characters of previous Confused.com adverts also playing starring roles.
A 10 second advert will also be aired again communicating the double Nectar point’s message. Fiona Creedon, Head of Advertising at Confused.com commented: “Christmas is the season of good will and a time for giving, so we wanted to get into the holiday spirit and give something back to our customers to say thank you this Christmas.”
“Double Nectar points is an excellent way for us to reward our loyal customers.”
