A love for art and design
I have always loved art and design and adore being surrounded by it.
I take my children to see art regularly at the Nottingham Contemporary and university, and if we go to London, we always visit an art exhibition, either at the Tate or National Museum, or to our absolute favourite the National Portrait Gallery.
One thing I absolutely love about all the art galleries mentioned is that they are free, and so my children get to see amazing art without the extravagant price tags.
I also really like the concept of bringing art and design into the home so that my kids are exposed to it regularly and can enjoy the beauty it has to offer. We no longer limit art to prints hanging on the wall – although we have many beautiful pieces throughout our home. I have now also become accustomed to soft furnishings and continue to decorate every corner of the house with curtains, cushions and throws.
