John Lewis Bedroom Makeover on a Budget
We have finally come to the last bedroom or indeed room of any kind ready for a full on makeover..our bedroom, the master bedroom/main bedroom .
Okay it doesn’t look much like a master bedroom at the moment. As each other room in the house has been done this room has been dumped in.
It currently holds lots of left over bits and bobs that we don’t quite know where to put.
It is holding too many books mostly already read but which I have no room for on the bookshelves.
It also holds way to many clothes that don’t fit in the drawers or crease the second we put them in.
It is holding a linen box crammed to overflowing with stuff I need to sort out
It holds boxes of letters and memorabilia that I am struggling to put away in the loft (emotional hoarding!!)
There are boxes of jewellery and hair bands that need my time to sort and under the bed is dusty and full of stuff that demand I pay it attention. We haven’t painted this room in 9 years . The blinds are 9 years old too. I guess you could say as many parents do we have left ourselves till last.
I know it is a complete disgrace!
Help is at hand…
I am absolutely delighted to tell you that John Lewis are guiding me through this room makeover. They had given me a full design consultation and visit and expert support through their home design service. I have been given a budget of £400 to complete the makeover and I really feel like I am in excellent hands. Thee is A LOT to do but I am quietly confident this makeover will be amazing! and my goodness doesn’t the room need it !
Next week I will show you how we planned and designed this John Lewis Bedroom Makeover on a Budget
I look forward to seeing the results – we had the same problem and have done a mini makeover with £50.
oh WOW you did great!
we have the same problem in our house. Not sure why the master bedroom has to take the hit for the rest of the house, but good to know it’s not just my house.
😉
Good luck! I can’t wait to see what you do with the space.
