Make your own Christmas Jumper and get your Christmas craft on
I know you, like me probably absolutely love Christmas with the exception of probably 3 things
1. The cost (yikes)
2 The waste (eek) and
3 All the flipping things you have to remember!
Okay well, don’t worry this post is not going to encourage you to buy or spend or think instead it is going to encourage you to get your Christmas craft on!

They, as always, want to spread the word that simply by embracing Xmas jumper dayand by signing up and donating £2 to Save the Children at www.christmasjumperday.org, you can help to give the world’s most vulnerable children the chance to have a brighter future.
But this year they are encouraging you to make your very own!

Where does the money from Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper day go?
What does your £2 donation to save the Children do?
Well…
- £2 could pay for antibiotics for eight children suffering from pneumonia, one of the biggest killers of children
- £5 could pay for educational toys to help a child in the UK learn through playing
- £16 could equip a midwife in Afghanistan with a birthing kit so they can safely bring new life into the world
- £20 could provide a mother and new-born baby with vital supplies to keep them healthy
By being part of Christmas Jumper Day, you’re helping children in so many ways and really entering into the spirit of Christmas

You can buy it here for £3.99 – a whole lot cheaper than a new Christmas jumper and inside the box is a kit to make a snowman, Santa or reindeer so actually you could customise 3 jumpers with the one kit.
