Review: Disney Epic Mickey 2 The Power Of Two

In Disney Epic Mickey The Power Of 2,  you can play as Mickey Mouse or as, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first cartoon star and for the first time ever Oswald is given a voice!Disney Epic Mickey The Power Of 2 returns Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to Wasteland, an alternate world filled with 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions. The first Epic Mickey was a big success so Disney wisely built on what worked and this is classic Disney.

Mickey and Oswald make a great team. Mickey has a  magical paint brush that wields paint and thinner, and Oswald with his powerful remote control that allows him to command electricity.

I think for the kids it was just loads of fun…they love Mickey mouse and this was an exciting game and fun to play as a pair. At 5 and 8 they needed a bit of help but not much! My husband and I loved the concept  of wasteland and the forgotten toons. I think it made us nostalgic for our childhood things.

It’s great storytelling as always and it was hugely enjoyed by my troop. It was also a bit of a musical which I loved but annoyed my kids!! Still it’s meant to be for everyone’s enjoyment right?
