Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of having a big white wedding with ALL the frills.
Saving Money at The National Wedding Show
Before I met my beau I would longingly envy friends visiting wedding fairs and planning their big day.
Quite sadly (despite having a big glam white wedding myself )I never got to go to a wedding fair. And oh how I would have loved to! I devoured wedding magazines and was so caught up in it being perfect but sadly I never made it (work commitments and morning sickness got in the way, I also wrongly thought it would all be too expensive for me!)
I would have loved to see lots and lots of dresses, get some special offers, check out all the different favours. Have a look at this video from a past National Wedding Show…doesn’t it look exciting?
The next National Wedding Show in London, is on at 27th – 29th September, 2013. It has sessions on floristry, managing stress, catwalks and makeup and almost anything wedding-y you could possibly think of.
It has the nation’s largest collection of wedding dresses under one roof and it is the UK’s biggest wedding fair. Sounds amazing!
Money Saving Marriages!
There is definitely money to be saved by attending wedding fairs as the companies are really promoting themselves and trying to gran b you attention and are in huge competition with each other. So for you, my readers, it can be well worth the trip. (Just go with a list and don’t go and maybe take a sensible friend.
The show is held at Earls Court and if you aren’t local to London you may be looking for local hotel? Just a mile away is the Holiday Inn in South Kensington. Situated in the heart of London it is Europe’s largest Holiday Inn. They have a great price guarantee and the rooms look lovely. It is just 1 mile from Earl’s court.
You can simply enter your details on the hotel website to receive money saving offers.
Train travel booked in advance is always cheaper option too.
Money saving is always possible EVEN when you are doing something as lovely and indulgent as planning the wedding of your dreams.
