Thinking ahead to budget Holidays : Cool Camping

Today –  Thinking ahead to budget holidays

I urge you to borrow this book from your library or get hold of  a copy somehow it’s ACE!

Cool Camping – Kids

According to this book camping and children go together like hot chocolate and marshmallows. I have to say my children adore camping and their eyes shine with excitement when it is even mentioned.

Thinking ahead to budget Holidays

Camping has always been the great budget family holiday option…but do tales of rubbish, boring, and campsites with terrible facilities put you off? If they do this book will definitely change all that. Each campsite included in this book has been tried and tested and given the thumbs up by the authors and their families. The campsites cover the entire UK and they are handpicked as the best.

The photos filling this book are fabulous depicting the wide range of camping experiences available from white horse gypsy caravans, to Tipis and beach huts and traditional pitch your owns. Luxury to bargain basement. There is definitely something for everyone. After detailing each campsite you get a price guide, opening times, local amenities, the upside and downside, directions and a very handy what to do if it rains section along side each campsite. All really helpful!family budget holidays

Cool Camping:  currently costs about £6 second hand on Amazon

Whether you want to camp by the sea or in woodland in the North, South, East or West of the UK you will find a campsite in here. The book is divided regionally and into sections setting out family festivals, camping games, campfire cooking and residential camps. The family festivals are new to me and look brilliant fun.

This is a lovely glossy book that is a delight to ponder and plan and share with your family and it could lead you on many fabulous canvas adventures.

Cool Camping is published by Punk Publishing.

I have to say I adore camping apart from finding a toilet in the dark I think it’s great fun. Whats your view?

You know, I have never been camping in the UK. I can’t get my head around the unpredictable weather and would not like to be stuck in a muddy field and have rain ruin my holiday. Give me solid walls, running water, a loo and home comforts and you’ll have one happy mamma!
