Here is to a thrifty spring full of fun.

As the world starts to open up, the kids head back to school and the crocuses poke their heads through it is time to shout hurray it is Spring. No we cant’s tarted heading off on holiday juts yet but there is a lot we can do. So here in this mini post are 5 ways to have thrifty spring fun.

Upcycycle what you have 

I love a bit of upcycling and heading out to the garden to upcle a pot is great fun – not only will it make your garden  look better you will be saving your pennies too. Here is how to do it ( last time I did this was summer as you can probably tell –  it is not yet that sunny in Nottingham!)

Learn some tai chi

Oh my goodness it has been such a pleasure for me to learn ai chi during lock down it makes your body feel strong, relaxed and oh how it calm your mind. I learned for free from videos on youtube. It is a beautiful thing to do in your garden. 

Here is one I recommend 

 

Spread kindness

Last but not least I want to suggest you get walking – it is always free and always fun and one of the vert best things to do now Spring has sprung.  If your kids start moaning the never fear here is how to make walking less boring
