Brilliants ways to save energy this winter

Ways to save energy

Brr.

It is absolutely, definitely getting colder and I don’t know about you but I have been really cranking my heating up recently and drinking lots and lots of hot cups of tea. I’ve even been seen with my woolly hat on in the kitchen!

It’s being widely reported to be colder than it has been in recent memory, with the Met Office warning that a lot of areas of the UK could see some “pretty significant snow” due to an arctic maritime air mass that has originated over northern Canada.

Sob.

I am NOT a fan of snow and I like to be warm and cosy in my home when it is cold out there!

I am sure, like me, you are constantly on the look out for ways to save energy, particularly in winter.

This brilliant infographic from Everest has some great ideas to help you do just that.

I’d just love to save 1k this winter I bet you would too.

I’m going to turn my washing down and invest in seem LEDs right away. Do you do any of these things? Are you inspired to start? Do let me know in the comments below and keep warm!

Great post Becky – thanks for the tips. I try and keep the heating down so when I’m working at the computer resort to mitts (feel like Miss Haversham!) and a hot water bottle at my back! Praying the cold moves over soon!
