My Money Week

This week is My Money week My Money Week is a national activity week for primary and secondary schools that is now in it’s 8th year. It  that provides a fantastic opportunity for young people to gain the skills, knowledge and confidence in money matters that they are going to need.

I have said many times how financial education needs to start young before debt is amassed and poor spending habits established. It really is one of the most important skills we can teach our children it will affect their  entire lives, so I have to say I think Money Week is an awesome initiative,

Jangle

To coincide with this fabulous initiative and to celebrate young people FINALLY being educated about money. I have the most amazing competition for you and the opportunity to download an amazing free app.

Jangle is available on ipad and really is a brilliant tool to encourage your child to learn more about managing their money well. I cannot sing it’s praises highly enough. Kids love to use their ipads don’t they so lets engage then in something educational that will really benefit them in the long term too.

So what is Jangle?

It is actually very simple and a lot of fun

Jangle is a free app, developed by Experian in partnership with Sarah Willingham, consumer champion and star of BBC’s ‘Dragons Den’, and pfeg (Part of Young Enterprise).

Use it to teach your kids money management skills while helping them save for the things they want.

Kids can create a savings pot, pick a quick task to complete for money, set goals and receive a big well done

Isn’t that brilliant?

Just head on over to the app store to download and once you have wyou will really speedily be able to enter our fab competition

It’s so simple

1. Download a the jangle app from the app store on your ipad and simply share a screenshot of  the  savings pot your child creates or your child using the app.
