Win a family first aid kit

Oh I am ashamed to say we don’t really have a first aid kit. What we do have is a big old tin filled with odd and old  bits of plasters and after bite, nasal spary and ibuprofen.

first aid

Oh dear..clearly understocked and a bit useless.

It isn’t easy to get to either and to be honest I don’t think it would be much good in an emergencies.

How rubbish. I am embarrassed.

I used to be the first aider in the children’s home I worked at years ago and it was drilled into me how important a first aid kit is.

A proper first aid kit

Luckily for me I have been sent a proper first aid kit and it is a huge improvement on my rusty olfd tin.

It has eye wash and sanitisers a face mask, tweezers, sterile wipes plaster bandages and more. Now that is a proper  first aid kit!

Vidisan

Bausch + Lomb are  the leading experts in eye care with over 160 years of expertise and innovation in their field and their product Vidisan is perfect for a first aid kit.  These eye drops contain ingredients to calm and soothe irritated eyes from daily causes of irritations, such as wind, dust, pollution, cigarette smoke, chlorine from swimming pools and pollen.

Vidisan eye drops are a year round solution for irritated eyes – which we can be especially vulnerable to during the summer months due to swimming in chlorinated pools while on holiday, summer allergies or playing outside in the garden. Vidisan can be used at any age, including babies

My kids eyes often get sore in swimming pools so this would be just perfect to keep in my car.

It’s in definite need of a replenish. Don’t think I’ve checked through it apart from plasters for a good 6 months.

I had not realized how dated my current kit is. This was a good reminder to check your kit for expiration dates perhaps when time changes or when you change the smoke alarm batteries. Would love to win a replacement
