5 Amazing Things to See and Do in Dubai

Are you looking for some amazing things to see and do in Dubai?

I have always wanted to visit Dubai so I have been doing a little research on some lovely things you can see and do whilst you are there and there is a lot! I have narrowed it down now to my top 5 and I am excited to share them with you.

Visit the Dubai Fountain

The Dubai fountain is  spectacular and it dances along to music before shooting 500 feet up in the air at hits highest crescendo!  No that is as tall as 50 story building and is going to be an impressive sight!

It was designed by creators of the Fountains of Bellagio in Vegas and it is situated in downtown Dubai with it marble sidewalks, sculptures, world class restaurants and shops. You are going to want to to take some time to explore this lush leisure area and watching this outstanding fountain in action (and for free!)

Bur Dubai Abra Dock

Much as modern Dubai is exciting and appealing historical Dubai is equally fascinating. The Abra Dock in Bur Dubai offers  traditional wooden boat rides that give you the opportunity to look around the textile souk and the art galleries and the gold souk.

The iconic Burj-Khalifa is the world ‘s tallest building ad a must see when you are in Dubai. The truly brave can head to observation deck on the 148th floor.  It houses both restaurants and malls and is an iconic building like no other.

Head to the Dubai Miracle Garden

The Dubai miracle garden is an incredible place. It is filled with the most awesome flower displays and top class services and facilities such as prayer rooms and eateries. A beautiful world class garden. Whole castles and huge sculptures are covered in flowers and next door is an equally impressive butterfly garden. It is absolutely enormous and the scent of the many flowers is said to be intoxicating.

Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark

My children love a water park and whenever we head somewhere sunny we try and hunt one out  – the Atlantis would go down a treat with them and it has some spectacular features. There are over 30 rides and attractions as well as a stunning private beach. A brilliant place to cool off and let off steam too and definitely one to keep the kids happy.

There are so so many more amazing thing to see and do in Dubai and it’s environs I think you could go for a month and not have exhausted  all of the possibilities. It goes formally on my bucket list as one amazing tourist destination that we really have to see.

Hop on a plane to Riyadh

Riyadh is the capital city of Saudi Arabia and well worth a visit if you holidaying in Dubai. Take a peek here for flight time from dubai to riyadh

You won’t regret it.  With desert tours and mountain tours and markets and monuments Riyadh really does have it all. There are even wild caves to explore and all that fabulous architecture to take in. You really cannot miss it.

Tell me, have you ever been to Dubai? If you have leave me a comment below telling me what you did and what you saw whilst you were there.
