 The Algarve

The Algarve is on the southern coast of Portugal and it has great weather all year round.  The beaches are stunning and they are great for swimming and other water sports. It can get quite windy so if you are not a strong swimmer the protected beaches of Salema and Praia da Marinha are the safest beaches to swim at.

 

There is an annual sandcastle festival that runs from May to October and it is a lot of fun for people of all ages. You can also rent a boat and explore the coastline for a day. There are also plenty of fun places to go like Zoomarine, a theme park combined with wildlife conservation, or head to one of the many water parks.

 

Budapest

Budapest is on the banks of the Danube River and this beautiful city is known as the City of Baths. There are several bath houses throughout the city and one of the most popular ones is Széchenyi Baths which is found in a building that looks like a Baroque palace.
