This week I have had some lovely bargains.
I got the M&S summer box which was £14 ( when you spend £40 ) for £135 worth of beauty products and they really are top drawer. If you would like to see what is inside take a peek at my video below, I reveal all! This worked for me because I needed PJ’s and underwear from M&S anyways but gosh it can be tempting to spend when you don’t need to just to get this super bargain. They know how to tempt you.
I am on the Mind Body Cleanse right now – 12 days of vegan /gluten free/no caffeine cleansing. I have been waiting to get the cleanse a good price as they occasionally have sales and I got lucky. I snapped it up at cost price because they had one left from a QVC promotion that had an end date of June. 6 days in I am 6lb down and feeling ace!
My gym at the moment is simply the canal where I live I have been pounding up and down it walking 4 times a week since Christmas. It’s free! I am training for a walking marathon to raise funds for the British Lung Foundation. I did 20 mile walk last week and it fair wore me out!
I am in need of new clothes and was feeling frustrated by how expensive everything was then I found a perfectly lovely Tee in blush pink at M&S for £3,50 – hats cheaper than my local charity shops! Am going to pop in a and get a pale blue one too.
Last but not least it is birthday season in our house and in the next two weeks both my kids will be celebrating. They are huge readers so I have head to the BOok People where you can get bargains galore on sets of books. It is one of my favourite places to shop.
Speaking of books did you know I have a book coming out my self ( well written with my lovely friend Penny from Parentshaped) all about creative ways children can learn to make their own happiness. Create Your Own Happy be published by Harper Collins in Septemeber but can be pre-ordered now on Amazon.

You’re more than welcome to copy and paste the badge above but it would be even better if you could let your readers know that you’re linking up with us by adding a little line to the bottom of your post like this one:
So how frugal have you been this week?
So, tell me about your thrifty week…was it a good ‘un?
