Oh, I have just received such a fun new book from Collins. I am so excited to share it with you. It is called The Little Inventors Handbook and it is pure delight! It is for 7-12-year-old but you know what a 5-year-old would have fun with this or even a 45-year-old! It’s great and a book to get you creative, excited and thinking.
The book encourages children to create, it gives them prompts and ideas for all sorts of wacky inventions and it gives them space and place to create there own. Just fabulous. I love how many laughs we’ve had already perusing the book and all sorts of crazy ideas are flying around here.
This really would make a cracking Christmas present to get kids imagination whirring. The book includes gems like a hamster tickler, ladybird umbrellas, and ghost wash’n’dry machines. and it takes kids step by step through coming up with their own ingenious invention.
Kids get to complete activities and learn some cool facts about the history of inventions, science, tech, art and design at the same time.
Pure brilliance and a lovely very much needed alternative to blooming screen time!!
This book has only just been released by Harper Collins and it has been written by Katherine Mengardon and Dominic Wilcox the people behind Little Inventors – a fabulous project which takes children’s invention ideas and makes them real.
