It’s really important to me that my children eat well. As a vegetarian family we have always been very mindful about good nutrition.
If you don’t know by now Frubes are tubes of fromage frais, and they are scrumptious. They can often be found in my children’s pack ups as they are very healthy and super practical.
Last weekend we were invited to a Frubes sleepover at Thorpe park with an exclusive dance lesson and visit to Angry Birds land.
How fabulous. Who could say no to that!
The dance lesson was with Balance Unity, star of Britain’s Got Talent 2016, and OMG he was totally amazing. The kids were given a talk on the importance of good nutrition, particularly calcium, and encouraged to think about why it was so important.
Then Taylor from Balance Unity showed them his dancing.
I have only one word…wow!
He can contort his body into the most imaginable positions possible, made it into the 2016 finals of Britains Got Talent and at just 17 he really is an inspiration.
The kids were completely spellbound by him. He’s a great example of healthy bones in action!
Thorpe Park resort now boasts a fabulous ANGRY BIRDS themed land and we were very privileged to get exclusive access, There are the rather fabulous King Pig’s Wild Hog Dodgems, the ANGRY BIRDS 4D Experience in a movie theatre complete with wind (fake) spit and being catapulted out of your seat! We just loved it.
There is also the scary Detonater ride which both my very brave kids tried (but not me.)
And an inflatable battle thingamajig, a ladder climbing game and more, Angry Birds land is great fun! We had a fabulous time at ANGRY BIRDS Land. My kids say the film a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it so it was great fun for them to visit and play and there really is something for every age.
The tea cup ride was definateley more my kind of pace than the detonator!
We slept that night in the compact and quirky Shark Hotel on the resort, which was fun.
This allowed us fast track passes the next day up till 11 am. Which was fab because it is one busy resort! We had never been to Thorpe Park before and it was just brilliant.
Our favourite rides included the Rumba Rapids ,a really lovely water rapids ride. The Im a celebrity get me out of here maze which is a fully immersive experience and a real giggle and you get to do challenges with actors and an all sorts! We also loved the Turbo, and the kids braved X the in the dark roller coaster. We did much more besides and were completely shattered at the end of it all!
