Car Boot Booty
A new regular feature on family budgeting that will run a couple of times a month is Car Boot Booty. I have long been a fan of car boot sales and I love to convert people to the wonders of pre-loved treasures. I will be showcasing what I find here on the blog. I would be delighted if you to share yours to so do send me any links to your treasure posts or tell me about them.
In terms of selling my own stuff at a car boot sale I’m afraid I only really do that when the weather is warmer but I am more than happy to wrap up and go treasure hunting in the winter.
Car Boot Booty and how to find a carboot sale near you
To find a car boot sale near you I would suggest
- Ask around for the best ones (where families sell the stuff rather than dealers)
- Check out your local paper
- Head over to Car Boot Junction an online directory of car boot sales around the UK
If you have never tried a car boot sale I think you will be most pleasantly surprised particualrly if you give the kids £2. It keeps them quiet for ages with all the beargains they can get for that!
Do pop over on a Sunday and link up!!
