Earn up to £200 a month by driving as you do normally

Times are tough, with over 2.5M unemployed, student fees up as much as 300% on last year, and petrol costs rising. Thus it is becoming ever more important to look after the pennies, and now you can earn a few more with very little effort on your part.

What is it?

We’ve all seen advertising on buses and taxis, so why not use the space on your car in a similar way?

Use That Space is one of a number of companies which offer vehicle drivers the chance to earn up to £200 per month for putting advertising on their car.

The advertising ranges from smaller text and logos, up to a striking full car wrap, where the entire surface of the car is covered in a vinyl film. It is temporary, and will not do any damage to the vehicle upon removal. In fact, the advertising will protect the paintwork from UV rays, as well as scratches and corrosion.

What do I have to do?

Firstly you have to apply. You will be asked a number of questions on your car and your driving habits. You will then be matched up to advertisers based on your answers to these questions.

When you get a match, you will be asked to travel to a garage to get the advertising applied to your vehicle. You are free to turn down any advertising offered to you for any reason.

Once the advert is applied, you just have to drive as you do normally, though you will be expected to drive responsibly – a dangerous driver probably doesn’t give the best impression for the advertiser! At the end of the campaign, you will have the advertising removed and be put back in the mix for another opportunity.

How much can I earn?

As previously mentioned, you can earn as much as £200 per month. However, this is dependent on factors such as how far you drive, the size of your vehicle, and the type of advertising applied (you will earn more for a full car wrap than smaller decals)
