I have had a good week frugally and a bad one.
I have walked a lot which has been a free hobby at least but I have been out for coffee about 4 times – yikes.
I wrote a clear meal plan but have a fridge full of uneaten salad.
I found a bargain replacing football boots but still had to pay a fortune for new blazers and a rugby shirt.
I bought some cheap flowers for me but expensive ones for Grandma.
I thought I was ahead of myself but have had to give someone a lot of money to someone that I did not expect to.
Life throws you curve balls sometimes and sometimes well you just take your eye off the ball.
It is so important to stay mindful about money.
The Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week Linky rules:
We’d love you to join in with us by sharing what frugal and thrifty things you’ve been up to this week – whether it’s an Instagram picture (#5frugalthings), a blog post or even a video. Just add your link to the linky at the bottom of this post.
You don’t have to share five things you’ve done, anything thrifty or frugal that you’ve been doing is perfect.
We’d like to make this a great little community linky so it would be brilliant if you could comment on a couple of the other blog posts linked up. We’ll make sure that we comment on all posts and if you have a Pinterest friendly image then we’ll Pin your post to one of our boards too.
You’re more than welcome to copy and paste the badge above but it would be even better if you could let your readers know that you’re linking up with us by adding a little line to the bottom of your post like this one:
I’m linking up with Cass Emma and Becky in this week’s Five Fabulously Frugal things I’ve done this week linky.
So how frugal have you been this week?

There are weeks (and sometimes months) like that where you can’t help but spend more than you were expecting. I guess trying to prepare all year round is how we get past those financial down times 🙂
Oh my goodness I know this feeling, there is always something isn’t there. For me it’s often last minute school trips that need to be paid for within a few days or the fact that we just don’t fancy what’s on our meal plan one night.

Yes those little things can soon add up
Don’t be derailed! A frugal lifestyle is 100% better every time! Thanks for allowing me to share.
Part of the joy of having kids is the unexpected expenses and the horrific costs of school uniform. I’m glad I don’t have those anymore. That can throw you right off budget!
Still miss my babies since they grew up though!
