I am a big believer in keeping your home looking fresh and exciting. I like to keep an eye on interior trends and embrace those that really appeal to me. Marble is hot right now and has been for a while and it is a trend I adore.

 

 

How to introduce the marble trend into your home

It can be an expensive trend however so if you are on a budget you might want to consider selectively how you are going to embrace this.

Wallpaper

I have seen some lovely marble wallpaper around. I would never decorate a whole wall in it I think it would definitely be too much but one beautiful wall done in marble would be so elegant, classy and budget friendly too.

 

Worktops

Soft fabrics

I have seen cushions, curtains and even duvets with marble effect patterns and this can look both cool and classic.   To avoid it looking cold I would pair it with maybe grey faux fur throw or cream soft blankets just to ease the cool.

Furniture

A marble coffee table can be absolutely stunning. It works so well with a powder blue vase, the lusciousness of green plants, pink plates and so forth. It is a gorgeous backdrop.

Flooring

Or how about marble laminate? Wouldn’t that look so very classy? I could imagine this working well in a small bathroom against a white or grey suite. Lovely.
