5 Ideas for free family fun
So this week, when it comes to frugal things I have been thinking about ideas for free family fun.
My week has been filled with free and fantastic stuff so let me share those with you this week as some inspirations
We walked Hunstanton beach from old to new there and back with the kids. Five miles where no-one moaned or asked for anything but instead looked in rockpools, made art out of shells, ran laughed and explored. Bliss
We walked the lake at Nottingham University, admiring the Chinese lions and feeding the ducks and crossing the stepping stones, ate a picnic and the kids played on the fabulous park. All free.
We played backgammon and taught the kids to also
We spent ages making special handmade birthday cards
We went geocaching (and OMG it was awesome) download the app for free and give it ago. Treasure hunting rocks! The best free fun
Have you had any ideas for free family fun recently? If so I would love to hear them. We had a wicked half term with very little spending.
The Frugal Things Linky
We would love you to join in with us by sharing what frugal and thrifty things you’ve been up to this week. Whether it’s an Instagram picture (#5frugalthings), a blog post or even a video. Just add your link to the linky at the bottom of this post. You don’t have to share five things you’ve done, anything thrifty or frugal that you’ve been doing is perfect.
Please could let your readers know that you’re linking up with us by adding a little line to the bottom of your post like this one:
I’m linking up with Cass Emma and Becky in this week’s ‘Five Fabulously Frugal things I’ve done this week linky.
Really want to try Geocachimg again but haven’t had much luck in the past, we’ve never managed to find the cache!
Ooh la la! You’ve been having some frugal fun! We need some of that type of walking where it’s not just walking. Stopping to check things out make it more interesting and make us want to do it.
Thanks for sharing your frugal living endeavours with us!
Hubby wants to try geocaching with our daughter. Sadly, I’m not able to join in with this one as I’m disabled but I’m happy to chill nearby with the car and picnic, and my favourite hobby, reading! We are waiting on a bit of dry weather on a weekend to find some local places. We all love the outdoors and our daughter gets so much out of being in nature. This is definitely on our list for spring.
