This week I have been thinking accessories.
I have a cute little pink woolly beret from Primark for £2 which I adore (now misplaced in the midst of our house redecoration along with loads of things I now need!) I have also bought a cream chunky knit scraf thingymajig (it’s like a big circle I don’t know what you call it, do you?) that I picked up for £2 from a charirty shop.
I love accessories they can so lift and change an outfit can’t they.
A few weeks ago I went to the wedding of my very dear old friend Dave. I grew up with Dave and he gave me away when I married J as my dad died a few years before. I was so delighted to see him marry warm and smiley Maria. I wish them forever together filled with lovely stuff.
The train cost us a bomb to get to the wedding which was miles away so there was no money left for a new frock. So I wore what I had but added my pearls. Pearls always make an outfit posh don’t you think?
Well they might look posh but mine cost the equivalent of £1 from a Malaysian market. SSssh!!
I do love accesories. I keep looking at broaches and am wondering if on on my grey winter dgffle coat would make me look a bit like my mum or if a little butterfly on the lapel would be cute. What do you think?
Have you been frugal fashion shopping lately?

I think the scarf thing sounds like it might be a snood? You’ll have to show us it when you find it! I agree about accessories though, it can change a whole outfit. I absolutely love your pearls – even more now I know what a bargain they were 🙂
I do adore the pearls. I have several pearl necklaces I love using to dress up an outfit. Thanks for stopping by my blog and reminding me about your link up!
My thought on the scarf is it could be an infinity scarf.

An infinity scarf or a snood maybe?
Thanks for linking up 🙂

I think you are right !! A snood sounds familiar (from the 80’s!!)
