Win a tin of butterfly seedballs
I am so excited to brring you this lovely Seedball giveaway.
It is such a lovely invention for attracting bees and the butterflies to your garden without you having to be a gardening expert. These seedballs are super quick to plant, don’t need any special equipment and are not at all messy.
Yay!
This is the way to easily gain a gorgeous garden.
So how do they work?
Seedballs are specially made to scatter over soil or pop in a pot. This makes them perfect for children or for minimal effort gardeners. There isn’t even any need for watering! the creators say rain and sun will help grow your garden so you don’t have too. How fabulous is that?
The Butterfly mix has Forget-me-not, Musk Mallow, Purple Loosestrife, Red Campion and Yarrow included all of which are set to attract butterflies to you r garden
The Bee mix is made up of birdsfoot trefoil, foxglove, red clover, viper’s bugloss and wild marjoram all from a single ball.
These wild flowers take just 4-6 weeks to start growing from planting your seedballs. Each tin contains 20 balls.
Each seed ball contains a mini ecosystem: seeds are mixed with clay, peat-free compost and a smidgen of chilli powder. The dried clay acts as a protective casing from common seed predators (such as ants, mice and birds). When sufficient rain permeates the clay, the seeds inside begin to germinate – helped along by the nutrients and minerals contained within the balls. The chilli powder continues to deter predators while the seed ball slowly degrades and the seeds sprout.
These fabulous seedballs are available from www.prezzybox.com (who sell a brilliant array of quirky gifts!)

Do love roses. If you don’t mind a long comment – my grandparents used to have a garden full and when we visited on a Friday night I used to do my homework outside with their gorgeous fragrance surrounding me (my treat for going as we never got home until 11 pm). My grandma’s maiden name was “Rose” too and when she was at school, and she stood up, they used to say “Doris Rose” lol. Sorry for the random comment.
