5 Fun Family Things to do in Devon on a Budget
I have never been to Devon I am sad to say but I love fudge from there and one of my favourite uncles lives there and so we are planning a trip to visit this year at some point! More for my uncle than the fudge I promise!
We have been exploring what there to do on holiday and found some fab ideas.
Where to stay
Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks, Devon looks like a fun place to stay with lots to do for the kids!
The Cliff Railway
A unique Victorian Water Powered Lift which giving access to spectacular cliff top walks. The Cliff Railway joins the village of Lynton to its sister village of Lynmouth, 900ft below and looks great fun
World of Country Life
This also sounds an amazing place with tons of animals to pet and see including Shetland ponies and ostriches and playgrounds, trampolines and a huge indoor soft play in case the sun shine fades away, Money well spent as there is enough to entertain you all day!
Go Ape
In Dartmoor National Park you can find a fabulous Go Ape centre at Haldon Forest which has 2 HUGE zip wires and amazing views. Its a whole day out as the walks there are free fabulous and plenty. Why not take a picnic.
The beaches
There are award-winning beaches all over South Devon…a ball and a bucket and spade are all you will need!
