Today – Finding the perfect chair
I have been after a new dining table for my kitchen for a while and I have found a lovely white 6 seater that is crying out for some fun and quirky chairs.
My old scratched pine wooden chairs wont go at all with this high gloss table so I have been having a good look around
Cult furniture do a really nice range of plastic chairs They sell the gorgeous white Eames style rocker that I purchased just 2 weeks ago for my bedroom which is currently being decorated. It is super comfy and I love it.
I have to say their whole designer chair selection had me drooling. I really like the see through chairs and I think these are great fun!
Such a bright and sunny chair these would really make my kitchen a welcoming and happy room. These cost £59 each. I think a few different colours would look great actually and I love this colour blue to go with it…
I like the fact they are a bit different from each other too. Quirky.
How fun is this Phillip Starke style chair too? It’s classy and classic but in such a modern way and I know my kids would find it just hilarious that you can see through it .
On a day to day basis we only need 4 chairs so we could simply stash away two old ones to use when we have gusts and just buy 4 new to go with the table I have set my heart on.
Going off track slightly I’m also loving this office chair doesnt it look comfy?
If i was fab at DIY perhaps I could paint up my old chairs in pretty pastel colours? Pinterest shows me all the time how successfully this can be done but it can be hours of work. Sometimes if you translate those hours to hours you could work in your normal job (particularly if you are self employed) DIY isn’t always the money savvy option.
Plus I am hopeless at it!
I love scouring blogs like Love Chic Living for design inspiration. Where do you look?
Do you think any of these chairs would work well with the table I like?
