Today – How to find a great value rug
As you know I have been doing a home makeover on a budget…and today I was supposed to be going to the Ideal Home Show. Sadly my little girl is unwell and I couldn’t leave even in her daddy’s capable hands and so I am home.
My main wish for going to the Ideal Homes Show was to browse. I am a great one for browsing shops, seeing what I like and then seeing how cheaply I can get a version of what I like. Budgeting can be quite fun you know. Quite a challenge.
Monochrome is a big trend at the moment and I saw a gorgeous monochrome rug on some TV show the other day that I really like the look of I have now found a gorgeous rug from SCS It is geometric and monochrome and an absolute fraction of the price
How to find a great value rug
Just by taking the key words of something you have seen and love you can do a search and turn up a whole variety of similar products. This works for lots of things. For example if I saw a vintage pink lamp in a n antique shop for £120 I could do a google search for ‘vintage pink lamp’ and voila up pops one on ebay that may well go for LOTS less money currently it is just £4.99.
So furniture shopping the budget way is like a competition with myself to find something i love at a bargain price Remember all you need are key words and a bit of patience and a willingness to try new stores.
