Experiences make absolutely awesome gifts and they last a lifetime in someone’s memory so this year when it comes to gift giving why not buy something that cannot be wrapped?
I have been having a look at experience days from Into The Blue and they have some cracking ideas…
My Granddad would have absolutely loved the spitfire experience. he was i the home guard during the war and was a train driver but he often wished he could have flown. How exiting a days training as a spitfire pilot. Wow!
I have a lovely friend Amanda who writes about the beautiful things in life on her blog The The Ana Mum Diary. For her, a private chef experience where a chef comes and cooks exclusively for you and your partner…well that would be right up her street!
For my husband a Bear Grylls extreme survival experience would be a huge hit. he would have 4 days to do things like prepare and cook a meal for his group using wild and natural ingredients with no running water, electricity or processed food and safely ascend and descend cliff faces !!
Now that is what you call an experience!
As a whole family what a glorious gift whale watching off the isle of Mull would be. Absolutely amazing right and something we would hold dear for ever that we did together.
And for me? Well I would like to go to the proms and I’d like a voucher for that in my Christmas stocking far more than another box of toiletries!
Love these experience ideas and I think they make really unusual gift ideas for all the family
Would you gift an experience?
