Cluedo Nostalgia Review

Cluedo Nostalgia Review – I was sent Cluedo Nostalgia to review by Esdevium Games ( a UK and European games, toys and collectibles supplier.) It comes in a lovely wooden box and has a very retro feel to it. It threw me right back to my past. We sat and had a really fun game last night. My 8 year old loved it and quickly picked up the rules. He and his dad were trying to use strategy but I took a wild hunch on the room and I WON! (Yay! I know it doesn’t matter but still….)

It was Miss Scarlett in the Library, with a spanner (in case you wondered)

Cluedo Nostalgia Review

Here are 5 best things about Cluedo: Nostalgia

Super Classic Whodunit Vibe

Cluedo Nostalgia brings back that vintage mystery feel — it looks and feels like the original game you used to play or see in old movies. For fans of detective stories, it’s like stepping right into a cozy murder mystery.

Easy to Learn But Keeps You Thinking

The rules are simple enough that new players can jump in, but the deduction part (figuring out who did it, with what weapon, and where) keeps your brain actively working. It’s a classic mix of luck + logic.

 Great for Groups

Whether you’re playing with family or friends, it really shines as a group experience. It gets competitive but in a fun way — everyone’s trying to outsmart each other, which leads to laughs and intense guesses.

Nostalgic Artwork & Feel

This edition gives a retro spin on the characters, board design, and components. For people who grew up with older versions of Cluedo, it’s like a little time capsule — the artwork and pieces have that familiar, classic charm.

5. Tons of Replay Value

Every game is different because:

  • the solution changes each time

  • players make different movement and questioning choices
That means you can play over and over without it getting repetitive.

Cluedo is as great now as it was then and a really fab family board game to have in your collection. This one will last through to the next generation. A lovely Christmas idea to enjoy year on year. It retails at £25.14

I’ve never played Cluedo, but it does look like fun.
