ᐧToday – inspiring gifts on a budget
It can be quite stressful trying to find inspiring gifts on a budget, can’t it?
Just because you don’t have too much money to spare doesn’t mean you are happy to give just anything and it can be a bit of worry getting the right gift when you are cash-strapped.
I suggest being creative, seeking out the unusual and thinking outside the box.
I have been doing the research so you don’t have to and I am blown away by the lovely budget ideas I have found.
Inspiring gifts on a budget
Unusual gift ideas
These inspiring gift ideas from Groupon are just brilliant and would go down a treat with my family. They have many much more so do pop over to the site to take a pee
I love the idea of giftng an experience. This fabulous indoor drone racing experience for 2 for just £19 would be such a fabulous gift idea for my nephews. Have to say I quite fancy the look of it myself!

A lovely thing for them to remember and children get so many presents don’t they?- an experience would be quite different!
I really like the idea of gifting an experience not just to kids but to a couple too. This Groupon treat would be such a blast for my brother and sister in law (and of course we would throw in a baby sit!)
1 Night for Two with Murder Mystery Event, Breakfast, Dinner and Leisure Access at Ramada Resort Grantham and on a variety of dates too, for £79 which is just excellent!
Another super idea that has caught my eye is this lovely Mermaid tail blanket for £10 also at Groupon.
I have looked at these elsewhere and thisreally is great value for one of these blankets and they have a lovely area range of colours.
Under a Fiver
If anyone is struggling to spend even a fiver ( I know many people do) then seriously do not worry.
I have found a wonderful resource for you over at Money Saving Expert. They detail 50 presents under a fiver that just involve a little bit of effort on your part. The list includes exciting ideas such as scrabble magnets, date night promises and teacup candles. These are such lovely ideas and you could actually batch make and make quite a few gifts at one. You can find this resource here
Baking
Home baking is always a hit and although you have to buy the ingredients, you can make a big batch and divide up the goodies too so it works out great value interms of time and money. We love to make chocolate bark or chocolate jazzies..especially for neighbours, teachers or my daughter’s friends and just pop them in a little cellophane before gifting. It is so personal, really fun and inexpensive.
Chocolate jazzies are the simplest and speediest things to make. You can have a look how we do it here.
I do hope you feel inspired by these lovely ideas. Christmas gifts can be really special without being expensive.
