Benidorm Weather
The weather is excellent year-round, so grabbing some sunshine is always a good option if you are looking for things to do in Benidorm. The temperature rarely dips below 40°F or above 88°F so it’s always a lovely place to spend sitting outside a cafe, or strolling on one it’s many lovely beaches.
The Beaches
The beaches are wonderful. Benidorm is well known for its warm sandy beaches and crystal clear sea. Here is a little list of some of it’s best beaches – but you really would be able to take your pick.
Playa del Albir.

Levante Beach.
Poniente Beach.
Playa del Mal Pas
Rocky Coves
Rocky Coves – as well as gloriously sandy beaches it also has a host of rocky coves that are just enchanting. Visiting them is a must-do.
Benidorm Nightlife
The nightlife is also a big attraction. It is world-renowned and there really is something for everyone. Benidorm palace hosts top-class shows from international dancers and artists as well as great dining, There is also the English Zone full of international music and all-night parties. As classy as or as wild as you like.
Benidorm tourist bus
Thetourist bus is a must-do activity. Transport is a cool San Franciscan style tram and it is a great way to explore the city. The tour comes with an audio guide with explanations in 8 languages including Spanish, English, French, German, Dutch, Japanese, Portuguese and Valencian. It takes you all around Benidorm and back again and is a great way to see the sights.
The Algar waterfalls
The Algar waterfalls are a really special attraction and a complete contrast to the brilliant beaches and busy nightlife. The Waterfalls are relaxing and peaceful and the icy pools are so refreshing. There are areas designated for diving into the icy cold waters if you are feeling brave ( and there is a cafe too, plus lockers!)
Benidorm Watersports
Watersports lovers can have a great time in here and from jet skis, to banana boats it caters no matter what your level of adventure. Such an adrenaline rush.
Markets in Benidorm
I don’t know about you but one of my favourite things to do abroad is to go to local markets and Benidorm has some great markets. The outdoor municipal market takes place each Sunday and Wednesday and is a big favourite with returning visitors. It is well known for its clothes, bags, watches and more. Ther are also a variety of street and flea markets so something for every budget.
Things for kids to do in Benidorm
There is no shortage of things for kids to do whilst on holiday from escape rooms to a visit to the Aqua Natura in which has a cool wave pool and waterslides.
Day trips to Valencia
Marvellous as your location may be perhaps you fancy a day trip? Valencia is Spain’s third-largest city and a vibrant port. It is just a 2-hour coach trip from Benidorm – there are orange groves to visit as well as beautiful, historic buildings and amazing shopping too. It really is a delightful place to visit.
